Rebecca Saiz serves as Executive Director of the Educator Preparation Program at Lone Star College, where she leads initiatives focused on teacher certification, program development, and partnerships that expand access to the teaching profession. With experience spanning PK–12 education and higher education, she brings a strong background in teaching, leadership, accreditation, and program accountability. Her work centers on building sustainable educator pipelines, supporting nontraditional students, and creating pathways that meet individuals where they are in their journey, from initial coursework through certification. She is passionate about mentoring future educators and advancing opportunities that strengthen the teaching workforce
