Dr. Peter Leida

Technical Assistance Partner

Pete Leida is an experienced leader with a strong background in strategic planning, district leadership, and school improvement. After starting as a teacher in Colonial School District, he spent a decade as a successful building principal.

At the district office, Dr. Leida served as Director of Schools and Deputy Superintendent, focusing on leadership development and evaluation. He was instrumental in the Empowering Educators to Excel (E3) grant, led the district equity team, and facilitated strategic planning.



In 2022, Dr. Leida became a Partnership Manager at Insight Education Group, assisting districts and state agencies with challenges like recruitment, retention, and strategic planning. In 2024, he launched PJL Partnerships LLC, an organization dedicated to fostering connection, crafting strategic plans, building community, and elevating the collective voice to empower organizations through incremental change.
