Nicole Breslow

Technical Assistance Partner

Nicole Breslow brings 20 years of experience partnering with school districts, state education agencies, and educator preparation programs to strengthen the educator workforce and advance equitable outcomes for students. She has led large-scale capacity-building initiatives across multiple states, established research partnerships, and launched communities of practice. Her work blends systems thinking, research-based frameworks, and grounded implementation support, tailored to partner context and readiness. In her current role at Education Development Center, Nicole directs the Quality Measures Center, leading efforts to enhance principal preparation through evidence-based diagnostic tools and continuous improvement strategies. She began her career as an elementary teacher in New York City and holds a BS in Cognitive Science from Brown University, an MEd in School Leadership from Harvard University, and an MEd in Elementary Teaching from Hunter College.
