Liz Lindsey

Director of Operations & Administration

Liz Lindsey serves part-time as the Director of Operations and Administration, where she leads strategic planning, administrative management, and operational oversight to ensure streamlined, efficient support of EdPrep’s mission and teams. With more than 15 years of experience in higher education administration and technical assistance center operations, Liz has a deep commitment to building effective systems and fostering collaborative environments that empower teams to achieve results in the field.


Liz brings expertise in business operations, post-award grant management, budget oversight, event planning & coordination, and process improvement. Her work focuses on creating scalable systems, enhancing team performance, and implementing tools and workflows that support organizational excellence. Liz is known for her ability to translate complex challenges into clear, actionable solutions that drive long-term impact.


In her primary role, she provides operational leadership for the Fiber & Biopolymer Research Institute (FBRI) and Davis College Post-Award Grants at Texas Tech University, where she manages a portfolio of over 350 active grants and leads a business office responsible for aligning financial and research activities with institutional priorities. She also directs administrative operations that support strategic initiatives and ensure compliance, transparency, and fiscal responsibility.



She holds a Bachelors of Business Administration and is Smartsheet Certified,  and is currently preparing to sit for the Certified Research Administrator (CRA) exam. Liz is passionate about operational excellence, accountability, and service-oriented leadership. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, volunteering, and spending time with her husband, four children, and grandchild.
