Janet Nester Olszewski, M.Ed., is an equity-driven education leader with more than a decade of experience managing multimillion-dollar federal grants and strengthening networks of programs serving children and families. At Start Early, she directed performance improvement and technical assistance for a 14-agency Early/Head Start network, co-wrote a $45 million expansion grant, and led initiatives that built workforce capacity through data-informed professional learning. A Teach For America alumna and former classroom teacher, Janet has guided system-level efforts to align policy, practice, and outcomes across Illinois. She is passionate about helping education organizations translate strategy into effective implementation and create conditions where all students and educators can thrive.
