Dr. Gabe Gillespie

Gabe Gillespie is a veteran educational leader and instructional systems expert with nearly 20 years of experience across P–12 and higher education. He has led successful school turnarounds by building strong academic teams, launching coaching systems, and designing aligned professional learning grounded in data and context. Holding a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Texas Tech University, Gabe specializes in instructional leadership, talent development, continuous improvement cycles, and curriculum and assessment implementation. As a principal, he raised accountability ratings, improved organizational health, and built systems for data use, observation, and educator growth. His work spans urban and underserved contexts with a focus on equity-centered, high-impact learning environments. In higher education, Gabe teaches in master’s and doctoral programs and contributes to the development of instructional leadership programs that bridge theory and practice. He brings deep experience in systems design, school improvement, and leadership coaching to support educator preparation and district-university partnerships.
